The first WGP Kickboxing event of 2024 already has a date, venue and card. The season opener will take place on March 23rd in Curitiba, the capital of Paraná state, for one of those insane cards. WGP 73 will feature two title fights, a new Challenger GP and much more. In the main event of the evening, Light Middleweight champion Petros Cabelinho puts his title on the line against challenger Marcio de Jesus. In the co-main event, Brazilian ex-UFC Jennifer Maia takes on Argentinian Yanet Maestrojuan for the interim Women’s Lightweight belt.

The card also features 18 more fights, including the first two quarter-finals of the Super 8 Challenger GP in the Super-Lightweight division (up to 64.5kg) with the duels between Brazilian Vinicius Mestrinier vs Paraguayan Braian Venega and between Argentinian Niko Vega and Brazilian Gabriel de Lima.
